Day 8 HOMS



Do Now: What skill or knowledge can you share with your group? 

Today's Learning Target:
I will be able to track the progress of the Coming-of-age and Cinderella archetypes in The House on Mango Street.
I will know that I have hit the learning target when...
-I can point to examples in the novel that connect to at least five elements of the two archetypes.
-I can explain how closely - or not so closely - the examples I have found match the archetypes.

Homework: Using the six habits, read and annotate pp. 84-91 (INDIGO) or 92-100 (GREEN) (if you're assigned one of these chapters, then prepare your key line, explanation, and question in the proper document). 
PLEASE SET UP A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR OUTSIDE READING BOOK TO CLASS DURING EVERY TRIPLE (MONDAY FOR INDIGO AND WEDNESDAY FOR GREEN)
