Day 7 HOMS

English 9: Working together since September 2013
Do Now: What sort of evidence are you least comfortable locating: 1) evidence that contains a literary device, 2) evidence that relates to an essential question, 3) evidence that relates to a big idea, or 4) evidence that relates to character development? Explain.

Today's Learning Target:
I will be able to identify the purpose of group work and describe what effective group work includes.
I will know that I have hit the learning target when...
-I can observe a model group discussion and notice behaviors that are effective and behaviors that are ineffective.
-I can list at least two behaviors I can work on to help my group run smoothly.

Homework: Using the six habits, read and annotate pp. 74-83 (if you're assigned one of these chapters, then prepare your key line, explanation, and question in the proper document). 
PLEASE SET UP A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR OUTSIDE READING BOOK TO CLASS DURING EVERY TRIPLE (MONDAY FOR INDIGO AND WEDNESDAY FOR GREEN)
