Do Now: How did the Coming-of-Age book assignment give you a new perspective on either your summer reading book or literature in general?

-I can find appropriate parts of a passage to use at least two of the six habits.

1. What are reading strategies/habits? 
2. The Six Habits of Successful Readers
3. Practicing the Habits
4. Exit ticket: of the six habits, which one do you already often use? Which one makes the least sense to you?

Homework: read at least one chapter of your outside reading book and make five annotations with at least two of the six habits of successful readers
