I will be able to add recent examples of the symbol my group is tracking and describe how the symbol has changed from the beginning of the novel.

I will know that I have hit the learning target when...
-I can locate at least two more examples of my group's symbol from chapters 5-7.
-I can explain how my group's symbol has stood for different things at different points in the novel and how this change relates to what's happening on the island.
