Day 2 The Writing Process

We aren't the only people gathering evidence!
Do Now: Read over your thesis statement and check it against the rubric. Which criteria have you met and which might you still need to address?

Today's Learning Target: 
I will be able to assure that the evidence I have selected supports my thesis statement.
I will know that I have hit the learning target when...
-I can explain how each piece of evidence backs up my argument.
-I can describe how different pieces of evidence support different parts of my thesis statement.

Homework: Continue categorizing your evidence and assign headings to the three categories
